Dandara and Anissa Damali come together on ‘Viento,’ a three-track release that brings two Swiss-based artists into the Bar 25 Music world, united by a shared pull toward the sounds of South America and Africa. The title track features vocalist Nikosh, adding a third voice to the collaboration. Dandara is a prolific Swiss-based producer, DJ and live act who intertwines organic and traditional music from around the world with the vibrancy of European techno and house, drawing musical influence from the continents of Africa and South America. A regular performer at Kater Blau, Sisyphos and Fusion, his productions carry the global, rhythm-forward spirit that runs through all three tracks. Anissa Damali is a Swiss singer, performer and composer with Italian and North African roots, whose music is shaped by a lifelong journey through cultures and sounds. After studying Popular Music Performance in London and discovering a deep connection to Brazilian and Latin music, she has spent years collaborating with musicians across different continents, with her voice featured on releases alongside Mollono.Bass and others.
