Kensho makes his debut on TalkTalk Records with ‘Gen 99,’ a three-track indie dance EP from the Ukrainian DJ and producer known for a genre-defying approach that blends sonic elements across electronic music’s spectrum. The EP explores the balance between emotion and dancefloor energy, aiming to create modern club records with a strong identity that blend timeless influences with a fresh melodic house approach. The title track ‘Gen 99’ mixes modern melodic house with the energy of the late ’90s underground scene, drawing on old-school rave sounds and reimagining them through hypnotic breaks, classic stabs and a spoken vocal that connects the past with today’s dancefloor. Kensho’s breakthrough came with his ‘Getting Started’ EP on Kinetika Music, which earned support from Tale Of Us, Kevin de Vries, Cassian and &ME, and was later reworked by Goom Gum in a remix that pushed the original to new heights. His sound has carried him from venues like Colonia in Paris and Kvartira in Moscow to a standout performance at Burning Man, a set that reflected his ability to connect with diverse audiences and create moments that linger.
