Family Piknik’s 100th release is courtesy of Nicolas Moore, an unconditional ambassador of underground techno. Influenced by Detroit, ‘I don’t speak words’ is a peak time club weapon ready to make any dancefloor scream. On the remix, we find one of Laurent Garnier’s favorites, in the name of Squal G. French producer tends to be more hypnotic, based on freaky loops. On the flip side, ‘En Vie’ plays with some electronic and robotic sounds to offer a more experimental approach. Tom Pooks & Sebass, aka Harmonik Kontrol, are in charge of remixing that one, under the form of a heavy tech-house roller-coaster. Highly supported by Carl Cox and many other A-list DJs, the French duo confirms his trademark signature sound, based on percs, solid groove and intense build-up.
