One year after the release of Ragnaroek, Riccardo Noe returns to EXODUS recordings with the first part of a new remix series built around the record. Ragnark rmxes brings together four reworks from Arnaud Le Texier, Danny Lo Scippo and Riy, each taking a different route through Noe’s original material. Arnaud Le Texier delivers a weighty, direct interpretation of ‘Askr ed Embla,’ while Danny Lo Scippo reshapes ‘Bifrst’ into a more experimental, melodic form. Riy, newly introduced through his debut EP Glacier, closes out the package with two versions of ‘Thor,’ offering contrasting takes on the track’s driving energy. With its continued use of Iceland’s Kirkjufell mountain as the visual anchor, the release extends the mythic atmosphere of the original concept while pushing the material firmly back toward the club. The second part of the remix suite is set to follow this fall.
