1980 Recordings proudly presents its brand-new offshoot label, ‘1980 Disco’, launching with Ibiza-based DJ and producer ‘Tom Crane’. Originally from East London, Tom moved to Ibiza full time in 2010 after being crowned ‘Best London DJ’ twice at the London Club Awards. He went on to hold an eight-year residency at ‘Blue Marlin Ibiza’, host his own weekly Tuesday event, and spend ten years as a resident at ‘O Beach Ibiza’, alongside appearances at ‘Pikes, Pacha, Sankeys, Space’ and more. With years of inspiration drawn from funk, soul, disco and hip hop vinyl, Tom brings the perfect energy to launch ‘1980 Disco’. His new track is a cool rework of the classic ‘AEIO’, instantly recognisable and packed with feel-good groove.
