Otherwise Records presents ‘I’m Lost’, the new EP by Brazilian DJ and producer Vivi Seixas, featuring remixes by Kolombo, Lil’ Mark and Fran Bortolossi. The release brings together five tracks that move through different interpretations of House Music, combining references from club culture with elements tied to the artist’s personal and musical trajectory. The EP is built around two central directions, with a more introspective and atmospheric approach in ‘I’m Lost’ and a more direct, rhythm-driven direction in ‘Excuse Me’. On the title track, Vivi develops a structure shaped by fragmented vocals and a psychedelic atmosphere inspired by texts written by her father, Raul Seixas, translating sensations of displacement and expanded consciousness into a dancefloor context. Kolombo’s remix reinterprets the composition through a more functional reading centered around the Belgian producer’s characteristic continuous groove, while Lil’ Mark brings the track closer to a more classic House approach, emphasizing rhythm and dynamics. On ‘Excuse Me’, Vivi shifts the focus toward Funky House and Jackin House references, introducing percussive elements that echo her formative years as a DJ in the early 2000s.
