The latest release on Madloch’s Crossfade Sounds sees Spanish producer The Venusian return to the label with Benthic Zone EP, following his 2025 remix for Rheinkalk. After appearances on labels such as Superordinate Dub Waves, Techenie and PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB, he now steps forward with two originals, “Submerged” and “Take Me”, supported by remixes from Italian artist Francesco Tamburrano and Hungarian producer atismusic, both familiar Crossfade Sounds names with several solo EPs on the imprint. The release places The Venusian’s immersive, dub-leaning approach in dialogue with two residents who understand the label’s patient, atmospheric language, giving the EP a clear sense of continuity within the catalogue. Benthic Zone EP marks a more defined chapter for The Venusian on Crossfade Sounds, moving from remix contributor to central artist while fitting naturally into the label’s deep and textural direction.
