Hailing originally from Manchester, Astrover is quickly establishing a solid reputation for the production of high calibre hypnotic techno. With tracks already out on the much respected Crescent London and Qilla Records, Astrover has been steadily developing his sound in a way that feels curious yet intentional. This has led to some of his most refined work to date via his recent debut EP on Spira Records titled Expectation, which came out at the start of 2026. Paired with a commendable work ethic, there is present a creative vision which exudes with excitement and the wonder of potential. Were very excited to be presenting the first of Portals d~series. The titular track features an encompassing bass-line which glides its way through an unravelling soup of squiggles and refracting textures. Juiced retains the shuffling percussive elements and expansive sound design, whilst pushing into deeper hypnotic territory through the use of mounting tension. Finally, a remix of Nagging by Spira co-founder and one of deep technos finest contributors of recent years, Tsott. Delivering both power and presence, his remix carries a weight which will be well matched with any discerning dance floor looking to wind into the wormhole.
