The premise is simple, the feeling universal: two people caught in a push and pull, never quite landing in the same place at the same time. Someone’s always stepping back just as the other moves closer. It’s the oldest story there is – and somehow it never gets old. But ‘Catch Me (If You Can)’ doesn’t dwell on the frustration. The track wraps that tension in something warm and effortless: swingy sample sounds, a hook that sticks from the first listen, and a song structure that builds through verse and pre into a chorus that feels like the sun coming out.
