Following DJ Godfathers fierce new electro cut Get Back, RA feature A History of Ghettotech in Ten Tracks and DJ mix for EPM, he delivers an EP made solely on one piece of equipment, the Roland TR-1000. “So my man Recloose from Roland introduced me to the Roland TR-1000 a while ago and I was inspired by it the second I started playing with it! Initially, I wanted to challenge myself to make a full track using only this machine. After the first track I was having so much fun and ideas were flowing, I decided to do a full EP with it. I wanted to see how Detroit I could get with it. So I bring to you 1000 Musik!” The Roland TR-1000 Rhythm Creator features faithful recreations of classic TR-808 and TR-909 sounds, the cornerstones of classic techno and electro. In the hands of a Detroit master such as DJ Godfather this machine gets a thorough dancefloor workout. 1000 Musik gives us four different electro cuts from one truly impressive man and machine!
