For the tenth release on ON Records, Jeff Rushin delivers a collection of tracks rooted in his unmistakable techno signature hypnotic, driving and uncompromising. Simulacra and Simulations explores the blurred line between reality, perception and illusion. Inspired by the philosophical ideas behind Jean Baudrillards concept of simulacra, and by the cinematic universe of The Matrix, the album moves through a world where nothing is quite what it seems. The ten track titles form part of this narrative, drawing on imagery, while adding new elements and interpretations of their own. Together, they create a fragmented journey through codes, consciousness, dreams and awakening from the first glimpse into the system to the moment reality begins to break apart. Release #10.
