Presenting their second release of the year, Roger Martinezs Higher States welcomes Montw to the label for his debut EP. Since first appearing in 2017, Russian artist Stanislav Prokofiev aka Montw has enjoyed a steady rise within the global progressive house scene. Noted for his blend of hypnotic rhythms and captivating atmospheres, the Moscow resident has excelled at creating his own brand of electronic futurism, making him one of the more unique artists to emerge from Russia across the last decade. Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and WARPP have been vehicles for his creative swell over the last three calendar years, in turn earning support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. After opening the year with his latest Mango Alley project Zemer, a single recorded alongside Italian duo Moodintrigo, Montw now makes his much anticipated Higher States debut with a three-track showcase Mantle.
