Laurent Garnier presents a Super Eight for the next digital release on his COD3 QR label, featuring tracks by Mr. De’ (Jules Wells remix), Diego Infanzon, Ian O’Donovan, Suburban Architecture, Establish11, Djos’s Davis, Jim Rivers and Loloman. Ade M.H. Mainor, best known by his stage name Mr. De’, is a pioneering American electronic music producer, DJ and label head of Electrofunk Records from Detroit, Michigan. One of the fundamental architects of ghettotech and Detroit booty bass, here, his “Please Believe It” receives Disco House remix treatment for COD3 QR regular, Jules Wells (Submerge, Twilight 76, KMS, Planet E, Brique Rouge). Uruguayan DJ/producer, Diego Infanzon is one of Latin Americas most promising exports who’s released on the likes of COD3 QR, Intec, Tronic, Sous Music, Turbo and Saved Record, positioning himself as one of the main house and techno artists from the region. Staying in the House realm, Diego delivers “Some People Walk Away”. Ian O’Donovan has forged a signature sound with emotive influences, spanning house, techno and electro, gracing respected labels like Bedrock, KMS, Intec and Tronic. Having made a number of appearances on COD3 QR, he returns with the atmospheric, “Alive”. Suburban Architecture is a production project from London based DJ/producers Chris Read and James Curry. Formed in 2019, they’ve released 8 EPs, 6 volumes of their “Architecture Dubs” remix series (featuring artists including Peshay, Blame and 4Hero) and 2 volumes of “New Town Dubs” (featuring the likes of Tim Reaper and Kloke). Here they make their COD3 QR debut with the drum & bass, “Focus (VIP Mix)”. Continuing the COD3 QR firsts is Brighton based DJ and producer Establish11 who operates between UK Dubstep, 140 and bass music, combining heavy low end, dark atmospheres and energetic club focused production. His sound draws inspiration from UK sound system culture while pushing towards a contemporary and uncompromising approach which he brings to “Pyrite”. Meanwhile, Djos’s Davis is a French electronic music producer and DJ from Strasbourg. Active for about twenty years, he is recognized for his musical versatility and creativity, blending techno, groove and orchestral themes as displayed on his “Global Static” track. His productions have been released on the likes of F-Communications, Parquet Recordings, 96Musique and his own label, Exit Audio. Jim Rivers aka Copy Paste Soul had previously released on Bedrock, Global Underground, Renaissance and Intec. After a few years hiatus he returned to the studio, and a hive of activity, that has led to more recent productions for Poker Flat, Traum, Rhythm Cult and COD3 QR. Now he’s back on the label with the deep “Strelitzia”. Loloman is one of the leading French producers in the underground electronic music scene. Since 2019 he’s released on prestigious labels like MB Elektroniks, Brique Rouge, Metrohm and COD3 QR. Another returning regular he closes out the release in fine style with “Accordeur HS”.
