Vasilis Klados (VKD) is the soul behind Mahayana Records ‘Karma’ releases. We first met him in 2013, following a sensational cover of ‘Rumour Has It’. A year later VKD returned with ‘Abduction’, another powerful nu disco release after which many unique indie dance and deep house projects emerged, leaving a strong imprint on the local electronic music scene. This time, VKD takes an underground stance. Bathing in musical and cultural traditions in relevance to his roots in Sfakia, Crete, he was naturally brought to marry Cretan music and electronica. In this light emerges the ‘Vendetta’ Ep, comprising two songs titled: ‘Avato’ and ‘Mezzo’. The Ep includes remixes by 7even (GR) & Haris Kate, as well as by the young Andreas Golias. Moreover, VKD is currently working on a brand-new live project featuring the phenomenal Cretan Lyra instrumentalist, Yiannis Kapetanakis.
