Behind the Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) : Release Notes

Void Protocol is the latest EP by Aldooink, conceived as a modular communication architecture designed to establish transmission across indeterminate environments. Comprising four operational units: “Communicator”, “Input Generator”, “Noise Translator”, and “Void Navigator”. The release investigates the instability of signals, the behavior of interference, and the possibility of communication beyond predefined structures. —— Aldooink is an Indonesian audiovisual artist, graphic designer, visual jockey (VJ), music producer, DJ, and member of Underradar Records. Since 2017, he has developed a multidisciplinary practice exploring the intersection of sound, image, and digital perception. Blending hypnotic rhythms, experimental visuals, and immersive performances, he treats sound and image as interconnected systems that continuously shape one another. His work has been featured on REVOLT, Underradar Records’ compilation featuring 23 producers from across Indonesia, and includes an official remix of “Obsession” by Berlin-based producer Mattone. Aldooink has also performed as a VJ for artists including Jason Ranti, Tuan Tiga Belas, Westwew Squad, and The Adams, while presenting audiovisual works at Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional 2023, 97KoboLab, and collaborative projects with ruangrupa and Gudskul Ekosistem.
