Behind the Jackin House : Release Notes

The ninth release on Petit Comite of House sees founder Bastian Bux return with a four-track EP that captures every side of the label’s identity, from uplifting house to deeper moments, always driven by groove and emotion. Taylor Made’ opens the record with a signature Petit Comite sound: infectious house grooves, a diva vocal, and feel-good energy built for the dancefloor. ‘Central Sun’ reveals the label’s more introspective side, blending acoustic bass, a soulful vocal, and a stunning saxophone riff into one of the EP’s most emotional moments. The title track, ‘Silver Birds’, takes center stage as a peak-time weapon. A hypnotic vocal, relentless rhythm, and a powerful brass solo come together to create a true Petit Comite anthem. Closing the release, Baum delivers a Dub Mix of ‘Silver Birds’, reimagining the original as a deeper club cut inspired by the timeless B-sides of the late ’90s. Four cuts that celebrate the many shades of Petit Comite, from soulful listening to unforgettable dancefloor moments.
