Behind the Techno (Peak Time / Driving) : Release Notes

CONNECT (BR) joins forces with Calum Kieran for “Own Mind”, a powerful techno collaboration arriving on Sound Dissonance this September. Driven by a solid, energetic groove and a relentless techno rhythm, “Own Mind” combines punchy drums, deep low-end pressure and hypnotic electronic textures with a distinctive vocal presence. The vocal adds an emotional and human dimension to the track, creating a strong contrast with its darker, club-focused production. The arrangement is built for the dancefloor, gradually developing tension before pushing into a driving peak-time groove. Tight percussion, powerful bass movement and carefully controlled synth elements keep the energy high while maintaining a sophisticated and modern sound. “Own Mind” captures the intensity of contemporary techno while keeping its focus firmly on groove, atmosphere and club energy. A strong collaboration from CONNECT (BR) and Calum Kieran, released through Sound Dissonance on 18 September 2026.
