Behind the House : Release Notes
HouseU welcomes a fresh name to the label as Kazakhstan-born DJ and producer Cosmo makes his debut with his brand-new single, “Otra Vez.” Currently based in Phuket, Cosmo is a resident DJ at Illuzion, one of the island’s leading clubs and a venue ranked among the world’s Top 10 clubs by DJ Mag. Alongside his work behind the decks, he has built an impressive production catalogue, with releases on respected labels including Armada Music, Protocol Recordings, Hexagon and Hysteria. His productions have also caught the attention of some of the biggest names in the scene. His collaboration with Leandro Da Silva received regular support from Tita Lau and landed on official playlists across major streaming platforms, while tracks from Cosmo have also been supported by artists including HUGEL, Mark Knight and Franky Rizardo. Now Cosmo joins HouseU with “Otra Vez,” a track born during a laid-back afternoon in Phuket, capturing the energy of endless summer and the atmosphere of an oceanfront sunset. Built around a smooth, carefully crafted house groove, “Otra Vez” combines refined rhythms with a warm bassline and sun-soaked key harmonies. Vocal touches and additional house elements add character throughout, resulting in a polished production that feels relaxed while maintaining plenty of energy. With its warm, summery atmosphere and infectious groove, “Otra Vez” is a strong addition to the HouseU catalogue – equally suited to dancefloors, vocal house playlists and laid-back summer sets.
