Behind the Indie Dance : Release Notes
For his EP on a comeback for the Colombian label, Kabinett join forces and share estudio with local and international artists which he has crossed paths with. Starting with this first episode with The Virginia Valley, the power duo from Medellin which are shaking the ground overseas with their characteristic post punk and darkwave sound teaming for the song; ‘Historias’ compacting the electronic approach of Kabinett with their powerful vocals and guitars, making it a great dance song with a deep harmonic twist. Following the EP his long friend Ivan, known as Joint4nine which he has already shared a deep and long relationship with music for over a decade, team up with a new indie sound in the song; ‘cinema’ an indie take driving into distorted vocals and lots of synths. Definitely an EP worth listening and a deep dive into collaborations. For the deep seekers, ELO, venezuelan and one of the iconic DJs leading the south american take, drives the song Historias into a club anthem with soft atmospheres and a never ending beat powered by beautiful sounds and the soft vocal of the original, including a dub version!, next comes the fellow venezuelan and up coming producer Dagga, which on his signature electro, takes Cinema and exploited it’s distortion and power and makes it his own. And for the cherry on the top, Orion Agassi, boss of the incredible Ritmo Astral from Spain, makes Cinema with an eclectic exoticness dance, just as he only knows how. Enjoy this one!, Kaputt.wav is back, and won’t stop.
