Behind the Techno (Peak Time / Driving) : Release Notes

TakeOff continues its 2026 run with TK018, welcoming Nelayan to the label with his new single Stella, out October 2nd. Built around a driving techno groove and a powerful low-end foundation, Stella develops with a strong sense of movement from the opening bars. Crisp percussion and tightly controlled rhythmic elements keep the track pushing forward, while layers of atmospheric synth work gradually introduce a more melodic and emotional dimension. At the centre of the track is a distinctive lead motif that gives Stella its character. Rising above the groove, it brings a euphoric edge without taking away from the tracks weight and club-focused energy. The breakdown opens things up further, creating a moment of space and tension before the full rhythm returns with renewed impact. Balancing melody, atmosphere and peak-time pressure, Nelayan delivers a polished techno cut designed for the bigger moments on the dancefloor. Stella adds another powerful chapter to the growing TakeOff catalogue.
