Behind the House : Release Notes
NESI lands on Nothing Else Matters with her ‘Hold Me EP’, bringing two groovy House cuts that showcase her distinctive sound. Title track ‘Hold Me’ is built around a smooth, rolling groove, understated percussion and a solid foundation, creating a warm, effortlessly cool club vibe without trying to overdo it. B-side ‘No Matter’ brings a little more freedom and playfulness, with a bouncy groove, playful synths and punchy organ stabs giving the track plenty of character while keeping that stripped-back House feel. NESI is quickly making a name for herself with a style that feels distinctly her own. A key part of the 555 family, she has earned strong support from Sam Divine and is now also stepping into the A&R side of the label. Her growing catalogue includes releases on 555, Jackies, Too Many Rules and Mood Child, establishing her as one of the exciting names emerging from the Spanish House scene.
