Behind the Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) : Release Notes
Motto Sono Records by Miia Magia & Cari Lekebusch presents: (MOTTO63) Between The Cushions, written & produced by Scriptor909. A German techno devotee, producer and modular synthesizer developer, Scriptor909 began producing electronic music in the mid-1990s. Beyond sound, his world extends into black-and-white film photography and laboratory work; a parallel universe of shadows, grain, chemical reactions and controlled accidents. Between The Cushions has a peculiar sense of anticipation running through all tracks. Something is coming. Something is approaching. Something is about to happen. Unique atmospheric percussion, modular electronics and driving grooves move through dark, hypnotic spaces, constantly pushing forward while leaving something unresolved beneath the surface. Cover art by Elina Aho-Brennan, a visual artist (MA in Fine Art & in Psychology) working in the fields of drawing, painting, multidisciplinary collaboration, art-led coaching & teaching for the past 15 years.
