Behind the Tech House : Release Notes
Simes makes his Clarisse debut with a funky, made-for-the-Med house sound that’s pure box office. Making sizeable strides from studio to stage, heard across the soundsystems of Ibiza, Las Vegas and Miami and with the blessing of Europe’s finest DJs, the Germany-based producer gives the ‘Front Row’ their moneys worth and then some. Daytime DJs will dig the smooth and supple groove Simes rides with, its reedy Latin guitar licks and subtle keys gliding across golden sands. Percussion splashing so the party can pop off, after dark spinners will engage with the weight of the bass, the quick of the lip on vocals and the feel of temptation found in its audience giving Simes that look. From the front to the back, this one’s where it’s at.
