Behind the Tech House : Release Notes
Pakate Records keeps the momentum going with another summer heater from the rising Spanish talent Souler. Part of the No Religion Lab crew alongside JP’s studio neighbours Rendher and Ssero, Souler has quickly built a nice series of releases on elrow Limited, getbusy, and Organic Pieces, and now he is ready for his Pakate debut paired with Amsterdam’s very own Joella Jackson on the remix. Combining bouncy structures, fast-skipped shuffling drums, trumpets, and surgical control of each element, Souler’s originals showcase a producer refining a clear club-focused identity, with the b-side ‘Emotions’ going nice and deep with chunky percs and the vocals from Sirolf. Completing the package is Dutch fan favourite Joella Jackson, who, fresh off releases on Cecille and Deeperfect, adds another layer of groove, making ‘El Combo’ a really irresistible club tool for the season.
