Grounded. kicks off its first release with a two-track EP from Frankfurt-based artist Surreal. With multiple releases on labels such as Shogun, Galacy and C.I.A, we are super happy to announce his release with us. The title track ‘Copy Cat’ comes in with a super clean, high-energy beat, driven by an infectious synth and sharp drums. This is the perfect first track to release on Grounded. and captures the sound we want to push. Track two, ‘Done’, takes things deeper, bringing in a wobblier, more rolling sound while keeping the same tight, polished drum work throughout. The B side should always be a little bit different, and this one firsts perfectly. Both tracks are built for the club. Heavy, energetic and packed with changes that keep things moving and the listener locked in. Whether you’re hearing them on a big system at 2am or blasting them in the car, this is liquid D&B made to be played loud. Expect these tracks to be heard on a full Funktion One system at the label launch party on the 3rd of October. We will be turning it up for these two tracks..
