Perspectives Digital proudly welcomes Argentine producer TEKKO to the label with a two-track EP that marks his debut release on the imprint. Immediately upon hearing his demos, label boss Darin Epsilon knew that TEKKO’s futuristic sound was the perfect step forward for Perspectives. Born in Buenos Aires and now based in Barcelona, TEKKO has spent the last several years building a reputation across two continents. After making his name in the clubs of his native Argentina, he relocated to Spain, where he has become a resident of Red Sessions Community and performed at venues including Pacha, City Hall, and M7 Club. Along the way, he has shared the booth with Miss Monique, James Zabiela, Guy Mantzur, Khen, ZAC, Cid Inc., and Mariano Mellino. Lead track “Alessia” is an exercise in restraint and release. What begins as a patient, tension-driven build slowly reveals itself across five and a half minutes, with TEKKO deploying effects processing in ways that feel genuinely inventive rather than decorative. Filtered sweeps rise and collapse, delays stretch and fold back on themselves, and reverb tails hang just long enough to blur the line between melody and atmosphere. Underneath it all, a rolling low end keeps the floor moving while the melodic layers accumulate toward a peak that more than rewards the wait. It’s the kind of track that reveals new detail on every listen. “Keep Advancing” takes the tougher road, trading patience for propulsion, driving forward on a relentless groove that never lets up. The FX work here is sharper and more aggressive, with percussive elements ducking in and out of the mix and processed stabs cutting through the darkness at exactly the right moments. The emotional undercurrent that ties both tracks together is still very much intact. Two masterfully crafted tracks from a budding young artist who has only just begun.
