Sandwell District is a techno collective formed in 2002 by Karl O'Connor, David Sumner, and Juan Mendez, who also ran the Sandwell District label until 2011. Their sound spans raw hypnotic techno to peak-time driving tracks, with recent releases appearing on Point Of Departure.
The Black Dog is a British electronic group from London formed in 1989, originally comprising Ken Downie, Ed Handley, and Andy Turner before the latter two departed to form Plaid. The group produces techno ranging from peak-time driving tracks to downtempo electronica, releasing primarily on Dust Science and Soma Records.
