A special meeting of house music past and present comes together on Low Trax Records. Dutch producer Delistic takes inspiration from a classic Todd Terry record, building a completely new production around it. After playing the track to Todd at ADE last year, what started as an introduction evolved into something much bigger – with Todd wanting to become part of the record himself. Now, two generations of house come together on ‘Control Your Body’ – bringing Delistic’s fresh production together with the unmistakable influence of a true house pioneer. ‘I’m incredibly proud and honoured to have worked on this record with Todd. He’s someone who has had such a huge influence on house music and on me personally as an artist, so to have him become part of a track that started from one of his classic records makes it really special. What began as an idea around the sample has grown into a genuine collaboration, and I couldn’t be happier with how the record has come together.’
