Behind the Minimal / Deep Tech : Release Notes
Seguim Files Vol. 2 marks the second digital compilation from the label, bringing together four tracks with a strong representation from the Barcelona scene. Lis Sarroca opens the VA with “5445”, a tight and rolling cut built on shuffled rhythms, sharp chords and a warm, retro-leaning palette. A functional yet hypnotic introduction that sets the tone. On “Bad Night for Carmen”, Groenogen explores a more minimal electro territory. Layered samples and chopped vocals create a restrained tension, gradually lifted by a melodic line with a subtle nostalgic feel. With “Another Planet”, Gus Bonani shifts into a more expansive direction. Driven by synths and atmosphere, the track leans into a 90s-inspired sound, balancing melody and depth while keeping a steady groove at its core. Closing the compilation, “Moth” by Alex Garcia & Vince Void delivers a darker, more direct cut. Complex drums and a driving bassline support haunting spoken vocals and hypnotic elements, building a serious atmosphere designed for late hours. Four tracks shaped for the dancefloor, each offering a distinct take while staying within a shared language. Distributed by Label Engine – www.label-engine.com
