Behind the Indie Dance : Release Notes
STORIES label boss and Radio 1 tastemaker Sarah Story welcomes Scottish DJ and producer Alex Culross to the label with ‘Inside Your Mind’, a dark and seductive house cut that showcases the more controlled, hypnotic side of his production. The track settles into a deep, rolling groove, driven by an infectious up-and-down bassline and hypnotic synths that gradually draw you further into its mood, building tension and atmosphere without giving everything away too early. Alex has rapidly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting rising electronic artists, with a Beatport #1 to his name and support from Skream, Jamie Jones, Solardo, Marco Carola and Michael Bibi. His recent run includes ‘Burn Tonight’ with Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick, while his collaboration with Ejeca, ‘Rhythm of the House’, became one of the biggest tracks of summer 2026, reaching the Top 10 of both the Beatport Overall and House Charts. With ‘Inside Your Mind’, Alex brings that growing momentum to STORIES with a record that feels right at home on Sarah Story’s forward-thinking platform.
