Behind the Deep House : Release Notes
Benjamin Long is one of those artists that reminds you why we do this. Not because of numbers or hype, but because working with him has always felt right. Real conversations, an actual relationship built over time rather than a transaction. That’s the kind of thing that doesn’t show up in a press release but ends up mattering more than anything else. He’s been part of the Apparel Music family since 2022, when he released his New Strings EP with us, and now he’s back with four new tracks. The Jazz Bass EP is house done right, deep, textured. The sound design is meticulous. Layered bass work, low end handled with real precision, textures that breathe instead of just filling space. Nothing here feels rushed or thrown together. There’s a classiness to it, an elegance and modernity in how the tracks build and release tension without ever overdoing it. This is a record that rewards a proper sound system and a bit of patience, a wave you ride rather than a trend you chase.
