Behind the House : Release Notes
Jackies Music Records welcomes back Spanish rising talent DEVEL with a new three-track EP featuring **“Concentrate,” “One More Time” and “Fantasy Disco. The release marks the next step in an ongoing relationship between the Madrid-based producer and the label, following his previous appearance on Jackies Music and a growing presence within the Spanish electronic music scene. Born south of Madrid, DEVEL developed an interest in music from an early age, absorbing a broad range of influences before finding his way into electronic music and production. The sounds of the 80s and 90s have played an important role in shaping his musical identity, particularly the synthesizers, rhythms and production aesthetics associated with those decades. Over time, that background has developed into a contemporary approach to House music that combines his appreciation for earlier electronic sounds with the energy and functionality of the modern dancefloor. His relationship with Jackies Music Records began with **“Orbit,”** released as part of the label’s *OFF Barcelona Sampler 2026*. Since then, DEVEL has continued to build his connection with the wider Jackies family, including an appearance on the Jackies Music House Session series in April 2026, where he also featured the then-unreleased **“One More Time.”** The new EP represents a natural continuation of that relationship and gives DEVEL more space to establish himself as an artist in his own right. Across **“Concentrate,” “One More Time” and “Fantasy Disco,”** the release brings together three original productions and offers a broader introduction to the musical world he is developing. Beyond Jackies, DEVEL has steadily been building his catalogue through releases on labels including **555, Street Tracks and ARM Records**, establishing himself as part of a new generation of Spanish producers making their presence felt internationally. His productions have also attracted support from a wide range of established DJs, including **Solomun, Jamie Jones, Dennis Cruz, Sam Divine, Ben Sterling and HoneyLuv**, helping his music reach dancefloors well beyond his home city. For Jackies Music Records, the EP is also part of a longer-term commitment to DEVEL’s development. Rather than representing a one-off collaboration, the release continues a relationship that has grown naturally through music, DJ appearances and the shared musical direction between artist and label. With **“Concentrate,” “One More Time” and “Fantasy Disco,”** DEVEL takes another important step forward in his catalogue, while Jackies Music continues its focus on supporting emerging artists alongside more established names. It is a new chapter for DEVEL and Jackies Music Records — and the beginning of much more to come.
