Behind the Deep House : Release Notes
PIV proudly presents Philip George with his ‘Stronger’ EP, featuring two mega tracks and a high-octane remix by our very own Retrouve. With outstanding remixes for Kerri Chandler, KETTAMA and Interplanetary Criminal, plus bleeding-edge originals on Burnski’s Reliance Recordings and Dansu Discs recently lighting up dancefloors worldwide, with support from the likes of Prunk, Sidney Charles, Luuk Van Dijk, Stassy, Kepler, Locklead, Saoirse and countless more, it’s clear that Philip George is on top form right now. Title track ‘Stronger’ has an instant classic feel, with crisp garage beats and a soulful vocal which will be sure to create special moments on the most discerning of dance floors. ‘Direction’ is a more driving, tougher floor-filler with punchy beats, a deep organ riff and filtered synths, and a spoken-word vocal. Retrouve put their own spin on ‘Direction’, adding their signature touch with a growling bassline and that deep yet uplifting energy to complete an EP of the highest quality.
