Behind the Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) : Release Notes

The latest release on Madloch’s Crossfade Sounds welcomes Resilient to the label with “Hackescher Markt,” a two-track release featuring the originals “Winning Starts Within” and “Hackescher Markt.” The project marks the label debut of Marko Radovanovic, a DJ and producer whose journey through electronic music has developed steadily over many years, resulting in a catalogue of more than one hundred releases and a sound rooted in the deeper reaches of electronic music. Alongside his work as Resilient, Radovanovic is the driving force behind Beat Sound Visions, a label created as an outlet for artists and music with a strong individual identity. His own catalogue reflects a similarly broad outlook, with releases and collaborations spanning Earthly Delights, Deeplomatic Recordings, Deep Clicks, Instead Recordings, Neele Records, Karmaloft Music, Deep House Craft, SMR Underground, RYNTH and Soviett Records. Across these projects, Resilient has developed an approach built around rich textures, distinctive synth work, grooving low-end movement and arrangements that favour progression over predictable formulas. “Hackescher Markt” introduces that perspective to Crossfade Sounds through two original productions. “Winning Starts Within” opens the release before the title track takes over for its second half, bringing Resilient’s preference for deeper atmospheres and evolving structures into focus. Together, the two tracks form a concise introduction to an experienced producer whose emphasis on texture, space and patient development finds a natural home within the Crossfade Sounds catalogue.
