Paris-based French producer RWN has developed a distinctive sound rooted in Minimal and Microhouse, built around subtle textures, intricate percussion and deep, rolling grooves. His sound palette is strange, fluid and constantly shifting, drawing the dance floor into a distorted space of his own construction, where the sense of time and space begins to dissolve. Dark yet romantic, his productions balance hypnotic tension with a strangely emotional atmosphere. RWN’s music moves through stripped-back rhythmic structures, twisted details and carefully controlled low-end movement. RWN’s productions have long represented the kind of sound Evaporate has dreamed of releasing. Following his previous appearance on our VA and this new EP, he will also return on ZFV002, Evaporate’s forthcoming second vinyl release.
