µ-Ziq is the electronic project of Mike Paradinas, formed in England in 1992 as a duo with Francis Naughton before becoming Paradinas' solo venture in late 1993. Paradinas operates Planet Mu Records, releasing his own material alongside other electronic artists, and has maintained consistent output under the µ-Ziq moniker since 2016 with eight releases spanning electronica, techno, and house territories.

His sound moves between electronica and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on Planet Mu, Revoke, and Balmat labels from 2016 to 2024. The music encompasses both the cerebral IDM approach associated with his label's aesthetic and more club-focused house and techno productions. Paradinas' work as µ-Ziq demonstrates his ability to operate across electronic music's spectrum, from intricate electronica compositions to driving peak time techno tracks suitable for both home listening and dancefloor deployment.
