16BL

16BL is a Dutch electronic music duo consisting of Peter Kriek and Ariaan Olieroock, based in Amsterdam. The pair began producing together in 2003, originally performing under the name 16 Bit Lolitas before rebranding to 16BL in January 2019. They operate their own label Bits And Pieces, which they established in 2007, and have also released music under the aliases MK Ultra Project and Lost Orchestra.

The duo produces melodic house and techno alongside deep house, with their sound spanning progressive house territories that incorporate trance and dance pop elements. 16BL releases music on Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats, two of the most respected labels in the melodic electronic music scene. Their 13 releases since 2019 demonstrate a consistent output of club-ready tracks that blend emotional melodies with driving rhythms, making their music suitable for both peak-time and deeper sets.
