40 Thieves

40 Thieves is a San Francisco-based collective of dance music producers that formed in 2005. The group consists of five members: Layne Fox, Corey Black, Susan Langan, Jay Williams, and Travis Kirschbaum. The collective began releasing music through Electrobuzz in 2014, with their catalog spanning six releases between 2014 and 2025.

The group produces nu disco, indie dance, deep house, and house music, with releases appearing on Permanent Vacation and Roam Recordings. Their sound draws from disco and funk influences, delivering dance floor-focused productions that blend classic groove elements with contemporary house sensibilities.
