Abstract Division

Abstract Division is a Dutch techno duo comprising Paul Boex and Dave Miller, who began releasing music in December 2012. The Netherlands-based group operates their own label Dynamic Reflection while also hosting the Decode event series across the Netherlands. With over 25 years of collective experience, the duo has maintained consistent output with 24 releases spanning from 2012 through 2025.

Abstract Division delivers deep and energetic techno that ranges from peak time driving rhythms to raw, hypnotic compositions. Their releases appear primarily on Dynamic Reflection, their own imprint, alongside Spectral Rebel and Just This labels. The duo's sound encompasses peak time techno, raw deep hypnotic techno, tech house, and house music, drawing from influences including minimal techno, dub techno, and industrial techno. Their productions blend the intensity required for peak time dance floors with deeper, more contemplative elements that work equally well in underground club environments.
