Ackerman is the indie dance project of Liran Ackerman, based in Haifa, who also performs under the alias Mr. What?. The producer began releasing music in February 2022, establishing himself within the underground electronic scene with his debut on AREA51.

Ackerman produces indie dance tracks that span across multiple respected labels including Play Pal Music, Nein Records, and AREA51, with additional appearances on compilation releases like Curation Best Of 2025. His sound operates within the indie dance spectrum, characterized by the genre's typical fusion of electronic production with danceable rhythms and melodic sensibilities.
