Adeva, born Patricia Annice Daniels on December 13, 1960 in North Carolina, is an American house music vocalist who launched her career in 1988. Based originally from Paterson, New Jersey, she gained initial success in the UK market after signing to EMI's subsidiary Cooltempo for her debut album. Throughout her career spanning over three decades, she has collaborated with Paul Simpson, duetted with Monie Love, and provided guest vocals for Frankie Knuckles and Slippery People.

Her contemporary output on Toolroom demonstrates a shift toward harder electronic territories, encompassing house, tech house, minimal/deep tech, and peak time driving techno. Since her first release in this current phase in June 2022, Adeva has delivered six releases that span UK garage and bassline alongside her house foundation. Her recent material operates across varying tempos and energy levels, from the deeper minimal tech spectrum to driving peak time techno, showing an artist adapting classic house vocals to contemporary underground dance floor demands.
