Afefe Iku

Afefe Iku operates as one of several aliases used by the artist also known as Osunlade, Latina Café, and Christian Warren. The project began releasing music in 2012 through Yoruba Records, with six releases spanning over a decade until 2023.

The Afefe Iku productions blend deep house and techno across varying tempos, from the warm, mid-tempo grooves typical of deep house to driving peak-time techno tracks. All releases appear exclusively on Yoruba Records, maintaining a consistent sonic identity that moves between contemplative house music and more energetic dancefloor-focused material. The project's sound encompasses both the meditative qualities associated with deeper electronic music and the intensity required for peak-time DJ sets.
