AfterU

AfterU is a deep house and melodic techno duo based in Tel Aviv, Israel, comprising members Elmar Ivatarov and Vitali Pevzner. The project began releasing music in September 2019, with Elmar also known by the alias Spade. The duo has maintained consistent output with five releases tracked through early 2026.

AfterU produces melodic house and techno alongside afro house, releasing music on established labels including Kindisch, Armada Electronic Elements, and Abracadabra Music. Their sound operates within the deeper, more melodic spectrum of house and techno, incorporating afro house elements that suggest rhythmic complexity and organic percussion. The duo's label choices indicate positioning within the progressive and melodic electronic music scene, with releases spanning from their 2019 debut through projected 2026 material.
