Agaric

Agaric is the production alias of Swedish DJ and producer Patrik Skoog, who began releasing music in 2010. Based in Sweden, he also produces under the aliases PHM and We Are, and founded the label We Are. Skoog has maintained a steady release schedule spanning nearly a decade, with his most recent output appearing in 2019.

His sound traverses multiple facets of house and techno, ranging from deep house and minimal deep tech to peak time driving techno and tech house. Agaric releases primarily on Fantastic Friends Recordings and Compute Music, delivering tracks that move between the deeper, more contemplative end of the spectrum and high-energy peak time material. His 12 releases demonstrate a versatility that allows DJs to find both warming-up material and main floor weapons within his catalog, with tempos and intensities suited for different moments in a set.
