Alex Banks is a Brighton-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who began releasing electronic music in 2014. He records under the alias Munk 777 and maintains a recording contract with Monkeytown Records. Banks has released nine tracks through Electrobuzz since his debut in September 2014, with his most recent release scheduled for April 2025.
Banks produces tech house, deep house, and melodic house & techno, spanning tempos from the deeper end of the electronic spectrum to club-ready tracks. His releases appear on established labels including Mesh, Last Night On Earth, dig dis! Series, and Moda Black. His sound incorporates electronica elements alongside his house productions, reflecting his multi-instrumentalist background in his approach to electronic composition and production work.
