Alexander Kowalski is a German techno producer and DJ born in Greifswald in 1978, who relocated to Berlin with his family in 1986. He began producing music on his Amiga computer and established his first studio setup in 1997, releasing his debut production "The Wide Theatre" under the alias DisX3. Kowalski founded Damage Music Berlin and has operated under multiple aliases including DisX3, Mr. Discotheque feat. Mrs. Caketooth, and C-Mem throughout his career spanning from 2009 to present.

Kowalski produces peak time driving techno, raw deep hypnotic techno, house, and classic Detroit-influenced electro across 33 releases. His tracks appear on respected labels including MORD, made of CONCRETE, Recorded Things, Girafe Sauvage, and his own Damage Music Berlin imprint. His sound encompasses minimal techno, tech house, and dub techno elements, delivering the high-energy driving rhythms and hypnotic textures that define contemporary Berlin techno. Kowalski performs both as a DJ and live act, maintaining consistent output with his most recent releases scheduled through 2025.
