Alexis Raphael

Alexis Raphael Herodotou operates from Camden, North West London, where he began his career in the mid to late 90s DJing acid house, oldskool hardcore, jungle and house and garage under the name DJ Lex on North London pirate stations including Passion FM, D-Vine and Funktion FM. He launched his production career in 2011 with releases spanning deep house, tech house, and minimal/deep tech across 21 releases through 2025.

His sound moves between the deeper end of house music and tech house territories, with releases on Creche Records, Resonance Records, Of Unsound Mind, Lower East, and Wow! Recordings. The tracks lean toward the underground end of the spectrum, incorporating minimal elements and deeper tech influences that reflect his background in London's pirate radio scene.
