Amber

Amber, born Marie Claire Cremers on September 17, 1969, in Berg en Dal, Netherlands, grew up in Germany before establishing herself as a dance music artist. She gained recognition in the 1990s with #1 hits "This Is Your Night" and "Sexual" through Tommy Boy Records, and collaborated with Jocelyn Enriquez and Ultra Naté as Stars on 54. In 2004, Amber founded her own imprint JMCA Enterprises after her successful run with Tommy Boy.

Her recent electronic music output spans tech house and peak time techno, with releases appearing on German label Stützpunkt and Berlin-based Mobilee Records since 2014. These productions showcase a driving, club-focused approach that contrasts with her earlier dance-pop material, delivering the energy and tempo ranges suited for peak hour DJ sets. Her five releases through 2026 demonstrate a consistent focus on dancefloor-oriented techno and tech house that aligns with contemporary European club sounds.
