Amir Alexander

Amir Alexander is a Chicago-born DJ and producer now based in Malmö, Sweden. He began DJing in 1993 and started producing in 1998, establishing himself across multiple decades of electronic music evolution. Alexander operates under several aliases including Guerrilla Soul, Jack Ingoff, and Smiley Virus, and founded the Vanguard Sound! label. His discography spans from 2012 to present with 12 releases tracked across various platforms.

Alexander's sound encompasses deep house, tech house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Classic Music Company, Third Ear Recordings, Smallville, Kwench Records, and Chiwax. His production style bridges the gap between deeper, more contemplative house music and driving techno that works in peak time DJ sets.
