Amirali

Amirali Shahrestani operates as a UK-based producer, singer-songwriter, and classically trained pianist who began releasing electronic music in 2012. Originally from Iran, he runs his own record label Dark Matters, which serves as both an audio and visual project. His debut album In Time received widespread critical acclaim and was shortlisted for album of the year by Clash Magazine.

Amirali produces deep house, indie dance, melodic house & techno, tech house, and electronica across labels including Diynamic, Warung Recordings, DAYS like NIGHTS, and A Tribe Called Kotori. His sound incorporates live instrumentation and vocals, creating textured compositions that span from deeper, melodic territories to more driving tech house rhythms. With 17 releases documented since 2012, his music maintains consistent depth and craftsmanship that has earned recognition from Resident Advisor as "perfect craftsmanship."
